My journey in fostering intercultural understanding is rooted in a lifelong personal and professional exploration of identity, communication, and human connection. Growing up in a multicultural family in Kansas and navigating diverse social landscapes, I cultivated a unique sensitivity to unspoken cues and the profound impact of perception. This experience, akin to Kūki o Yomu ("reading the air"), has fostered a deep empathy for diverse perspectives and a nuanced understanding of how people connect beyond words. 

My academic foundation in Communication Studies—specializing in Cultural and Organizational dynamics—is bolstered by multilingual fluency and a deep immersion in global dance forms (Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, West African, Salsa, Flamenco), which together inform my "architecture of context."

Professionally, my career spans Public Relations, High-Tech, Academia, and International Communications, including high-stakes work with the Gates Foundation and Nintendo. In these roles, I have consistently transcended standard communication challenges by decoding cultural nuance to foster authentic, high-impact collaboration.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am driven by a commitment to lifelong learning and the study of visionary leadership. Through every experience, I have found that genuine global connection hinges on recognizing our shared humanity, even within the most complex operational landscapes.
